Health Choice Arizona is keeping up with the latest developments about the COVID-19 illness. Below are some tips to protect your health.

How to protect yourself

  1. Most important: Stay home when you are sick.
  2. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
  3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  4. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  5. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  6. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
  7. Know the signs and symptoms of COVID-19: fever, cough and shortness of breath.

Concerned about symptoms?

Call your doctor: If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms, such as cough or difficulty breathing, call your healthcare provider for medical advice.
